A trip to Greece will be based in Giannitsa (New Britain’s Greek Sister City) near Thessalonika, the second largest city in Greece. The trip will be focused on Greek Macedonia and the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Giannitsa’s independence from the Ottoman Turks.
The all-inclusive 12 day trip will include visits to New Britain's Sister City along with sightseeing of the ancient capital of Macedonia, Pella, the royal tombs at Aegae (Vergina), the modern capital of Greek Macedonia, Thessaloniki, the ancient religious center of Dion at the foothills of Mt. Olympus, the Spa of Loutra town, the waterfalls of Edessa and more.
The price includes double person occupancy with a $250 single upgrade, two meals daily, air and ground transportation, tips and taxes. Reservations are $400 per person with limited tour group size.
